Look what Baker Furniture was creating in the 1960s: an Asian modernist buffet. The dealer, NoHo Modern, says the piece has been refinished, so I don't know if that cool pale green lacquer was the color used originally.

Red Egg has one similar...the green is cool, but I prefer black or Chinese red.
I love red and have a lot of it (esp Tibetan pieces). But I think the green makes one take a second look.
